Khan Nagar Chandi Medha — Durga Puja

The Khan Nagar Puja Committee's pandal is one of Cuttack's best-known Chandi Medha displays, decking the goddess's silver-filigree backdrop with roughly 400kg of silver topped by a 3kg gold crown for the idol. Each year the committee builds its tableau around a fresh theme — the 2025 edition honoured India's armed forces — while volunteers run community initiatives such as sapling giveaways to visiting women devotees under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" programme.
