Bangiya Sanskritik Sangha Sarbojanin Durgotsab

One of South India's oldest and largest Durga Puja celebrations, hosted continuously at Keyes High School in Secunderabad since the venue shifted there in 1970. Organised by the Bangiya Sanskritik Sangha, the multi-day Durgotsab has in recent years drawn crowds reported in the hundreds of thousands across the festival, with a food court of 50+ stalls serving cuisines from across India alongside the traditional puja rituals, cultural programmes and performances. What began as a Bengali community celebration has become one of the city's most-attended Dasara-season events, pulling in Telugu, Tamil, Marwari, Punjabi, Gujarati and Malayali visitors alongside the Bengali community — organisers describe it as a genuine cross-community melting pot rather than a solely Bengali function.
