Vibrant Navratri Festival 2026 at GMDC Ground

Gujarat Tourism's Vibrant Navratri Festival returns to GMDC Ground in the Vastrapur/Memnagar university area from 11-20 October 2026, transforming the amphitheatre-style ground into the state's best-known public Garba venue. Each of the nine nights celebrates one of the forms of Goddess Durga with a nightly Maha Aarti, followed by mass Garba and Rass-Dandiya performed by more than 1,000 trained artists on opening night alone. The venue also runs a Cultural Kids' City with interactive studios, a food court serving Gujarati and street cuisine, a handicraft bazaar of artisan products, thematic entry gates including a Kalash Gate, and selfie points throughout the grounds - making it as much a family mela as a dance festival, and the flagship of Ahmedabad's citywide Navratri season.
