Hyderabad Bangalee Samity Durga Puja 2026

The Hyderabad Bangalee Samity, whose Sarbojonin Durga Puja began in 1942 during the Nizam era, holds its 85th edition at NTR Stadium opposite Indira Park - the city's oldest and largest Durgotsav, drawing over a lakh devotees on Sandhi Puja day. The programme spans Maha Yagna, priest-led rituals and Pushpanjali, kids' art competitions, nightly music and dance recitals and hymns, and a large Bengali food fair, with elaborately themed decor each year.
