Tarang - The Garba Night of DAIICT

An annual Navratri tradition run by the Cultural Committee of DA-IICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology), Tarang turns the university grounds into a three-night Garba and Dandiya celebration for the city. Past editions have drawn large ticketed crowds from across Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, with dhol beats, traditional-attire contests and a late-night dance floor running from evening into the early hours. The 2026 edition runs October 18-20, continuing a run that has previously sold out its early-bird tier well ahead of the dates. It's one of the bigger student-run Garba nights in the Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad corridor, distinct from the many housing-society and commercial Garba events in the same window.
