Durgotsav 2026 (Aikatan Cultural Association)

Since 2021, the Aikatan Cultural Association has brought a Bengali-style Durga Puja to Andheri West, staged at Country Club off Veera Desai Road. The five-day Durgotsav (Shashthi to Dashami) combines traditional Puja rituals, elaborate pandal decor and cultural programming with celebrity involvement - musician Pritam serves as the event's Chief Patron - reflecting the association's stated mission of celebrating "not just festivals, but the spirit of community, culture and compassion." Expect daily aarti and bhog offerings, cultural performances, food stalls and a gathering point for Mumbai's Bengali diaspora in the western suburbs across the 2026 dates of 17-21 October.
